Perla on Broadway, a 35-story high-rise in Downtown Los Angeles’ Historic Core, began welcoming its first residents last week. Located at the corner of South Broadway and West 4th Street, the $320 million project has delivered 450 new condominium units priced from the mid-$400,000s, according to BuzzBuzzHome data.
The collection of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites is geared toward first-time buyers, with the majority of units priced below $1 million. Spanning approximately 466 to 1,277 square feet, the residences showcase a minimalist, modern aesthetic — expect floor-to-ceiling windows, European White Oak flooring, lacquer and wood-finished kitchen cabinetry, high-performance Bertazzoni appliances and polished quartz countertops.
Judging by Perla on Broadway’s Instagram account, it seems that many of the 44,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces have been completed, such as the private screening room, stylish lobby-lounge, fully-equipped fitness center, and rooftop terraces including the swimming pool and spa.
If you’re in the market for a move-in-ready condo in the heart of DTLA, check out these three desirable options at Perla on Broadway.
1. Unit #701, one-bedroom-plus-den, 810 square feet
If you’re a remote employee looking to keep your workspace separate from your sleeping quarters, Unit #701 provides a den that can be fully enclosed should you need to take a private phone call or concentrate on a project. This coveted corner suite features two walls of expansive windows in the open-concept kitchen, living and dining room, allowing you to experience the buzz of the city from the seventh floor.
2. Unit #2601, one-bedroom, 810 square feet
A kitchen equipped for entertaining can be hard to come by in a condominium but Unit #2601 provides a U-shaped layout with a peninsula where guests can sit while you prepare a meal. There’s plenty of counter space and direct sightlines to the living and dining area. The suite’s only bedroom incorporates a generous walk-in closet and a reach-in wardrobe on the opposite wall. Sweeping, east-facing views from the 26th floor will also allow the future owners to rise with the sun.
3. Unit #3507, two-bedroom, 1,277 square feet
Unit #3507 has it all — an island kitchen, a spacious balcony, five organized closets, and a guest bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom. At 1,277 square feet, the suite offers plenty of room for a family seeking to live downtown or downsizers who frequently host overnight guests. The open-concept kitchen, living and dining area is functional and flexible, complete with a moveable island that can be pushed out of the way to create more space. From the 35th floor — also known as the penthouse level — residents will enjoy breathtaking views toward the southwest.
